Self Sabotage

I've spent a lot of my life sabotaging the best things about it. Opportunities. Relationships. Happiness. Dreams on the verge of coming true. Myself.

I live with the voices of past trauma in my head that tell me I don't deserve anything good ever. That I don't deserve to be treated well. That I don't deserve to succeed. That I don't deserve love.

The better things are going, the louder these voices get until, ultimately, I ruin everything. Then they say, "I told you so," and the cycle repeats.

"Maybe one day I will finally leave what's well alone," I think to myself, as I watch yet another beautiful thing crumble because of my own undoing.

Self Sabotage. My most toxic trait.

Thanks to the help of Matt Kruft and Jason Hamilton, I've been able to turn my self sabotage into self reflection via my favorite expressive medium: music. This EP is a reminder to myself that I am breaking this cycle now. No more sabotaging the beautiful things that come my way because I DO deserve them.
